My name is Shoaib Rehman, and I'm from a small city in Pakistan
About three years ago, I started my YouTube journey by creating challenge videos. In the beginning, I experimented with different types of content, and some of my videos started getting good views.
One day, we had some duct tape at home, and we came up with a simple idea: why not turn it into a fun challenge video? We created our first duct-tape challenge, and unexpectedly, the video performed extremely well.
That success motivated me to create more challenge videos. However, over time, I started experimenting with too many different types of content. I moved away from the content that my audience originally enjoyed, and eventually, my channel lost momentum.
I kept trying different ideas, including challenge videos with adults and other formats. I also spent a lot of time trying to understand what people actually wanted to watch and what type of content I could build for the long term.
Unfortunately, my YouTube journey also came with some major setbacks. Some of my channels were terminated, and I eventually lost multiple channels. I later worked on another monetized channel and invested significant time and money into creating higher-quality duct-tape challenge content. I worked on that project for several months, but eventually, that channel was also removed.
At that point, I realized that I needed to think differently.
Instead of depending entirely on a social media platform, I wanted to build something that I could develop as my own brand and have more control over.
I explored different platforms and eventually started using Twitter/X for marketing. I also created a Patreon page where I shared my content with members. For a while, this worked well, and people supported my work through memberships.
But eventually, that platform was also no longer available to me.
That experience taught me an important lesson:
Platforms can change, accounts can disappear, but a brand and a community can continue to grow if you build them properly.
That is how the idea of Duct Tape Challenge was born.

The website you are seeing today was created with the help of my brother. We have invested a lot of time, effort, and money into building this platform because we want Duct Tape Challenge to become more than just another social media account.
Our goal is to create a unique entertainment platform where you can find exciting and original content, including challenge-based videos, intense stories, and other entertaining productions.
Some content will be available for everyone to enjoy, while additional content may be available through membership.
We are starting this new chapter with a simple goal:
Create better content, build a real community, and create something that belongs to our brand.
